Back-crack And Butt Face? I Need To Drop A Few Pounds!

Yesterday I tried on my wedding dress and was informed by my mother I have a Back Ass. Yes. That’s right, a butt crack on my back, formed by squishing into my gown. Hmm… lets put google to its best use and see if we can find an example….

Okay I had no luck. But I did come across this lovely piece of art.



Anyways so I have a few pounds to drop before the walk down the aisle. Here are my goals.

I want to drop a minimum of a pound a week between now and the big day. That means I can lose 20lbs. taking me from a shameful 187 to a 167 (which since I am tall puts me 7 lbs out of the ‘healthy’ weight range – but I am very muscular so for my structure it’s actually okay I think). Now Ideally I will lose about 1.5 lbs per week. And if I can do that I will sit at about 157 – putting me nicely 2 lbs within the textbook ‘healthy’.
I fit into my dress right now, but it’s a little snug. So now I am going to (on an inspiration from Katie who has a fabulous blog – which I highly recommended at http://joshandkatiejones.blogspot.com/) post my weekly weight on my blog.
So starting today I am 187.

By next week I plan to be at least 1.5lbs less of who I was today.

  1. Good luck with your desire to lose weight. It often times takes a big incentive (back butt crack) to get us motivated enough to get 'er done!

  2. I follow Greta who's done an amazing job and knows how to do this without messing up metabolism. I wish I knew about this stuff years ago.
